Pre-release screening of The Divide in Sutton

The Divide, a film inspired by the critically-acclaimed, best-selling book “The Spirit Level” by Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett will be screened in Sutton on 14 March ahead of its general UK release on 22 April.

The Divide uncovers how every aspect of our lives is controlled by the size of the gap between rich and poor – in the US and UK the top 0.1% owns as much wealth as the bottom 90%.

This lyrical, psychological and tragi-comic picture of how economic division creates social division serves as both a call to arms, and a powerful warning.

Monday March 14th, 7.30–9.00pm, doors open at 7.00.
At Sutton Quaker Meeting Hall, Cedar Road, Sutton, SM2 5DA

There is no advance entry charge, donations will be taken on the night.
Please reserve your place by email to sutton4peace@yahoo.co.uk or by text message to 07740 594496.
