Inge Trott

Sutton for Peace and Justice is very sad to mark the passing of Inge Trott.

Inge died peacefully aged 94 at St Georges Hospital on 15 June with her daughter Nina at her side.

Born in Austria, Inge came to England as a Jewish refugee in 1938.

Inge had been a supportive and inspiring presence in Sutton for Peace and Justice for many years, contributing to our discussions and activities.

Her strong belief in human rights and equality was demonstrated in her support for Jews for Justice for Palestinians and the way she bravely challenged those who opposed her views through the Association of Jewish Refugees.

Inge will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by the great many people whose lives she touched.
